The Intermediate
championship kicked off on bank holiday Monday 05/05/08
in Kilclonfert against Ballyfore.
This was the first time
that the club fielded almost a full strength team. Lack
of match practice of playing together showed due to
county commitments and studies. However at no time did
it look like Ballyfore were going to win the game. A
fine individual display from Gary Comerford (1-4) helped
to secure the win on a scoreline of 1-12 to 0-10.
