Below you will find a picture of the Walsh Island panel just before kickoff in their Intermediate Championship match with Clonbullogue. This was the first time Walsh Island played in their new look kits. The jerseys were sponsored by Eamon Hartley (EHS Security Systems Ltd.) and the shorts and socks by Club President, PJ Mahon.
After the victory over our local rivals by a scoreline of 0-14 to 0-09, Madeline & Paul Flint laid on sandwiches for the team and supporters in their premises, The Hoppers.
